How To Increase Your Skills In Runescape?

There are many ways of increasing your skills in Runescape.

Every player would use slightly different methods from another, so please don’t think mine strategies are the best, and are the only ones.

But, if you are just starting to increasing your Runescape skills, it would make perfect sense to listen to my advice.

To make things simple for you who are just starting out, or even experts… I would break the Runescape skills into two sections.

The first section consists of skills that you have to level up on your own. You cannot buy your Runescape skills up using your gp or anything else.

The second section would be using your gp to buy your way up your Runescape skills.

Runescape Skills Section One

Over here in section one of how to increase your Runescape skills, we have…

Strength
Slayer
Agility
Fishing
Hunter
Attack
Thieving
Mining
Hitpoints
Woodcutting
Defence

Section Two Increasing Runescape Skills

In section two, here are the skills that you can use your gp or gold to buy them to increase your Runescape skills.

Runecrafting
Fletching
Construction
Prayer
Firemaking
Smithing
Firemaking
Farming
Herblore
Ranging
Crafting
Magic
Cooking

.

Strategies On How To Increase Your Runescape Skills

Before I start wanting to increase my Runescape skills, I would have the end in mind. What do I mean by that?

Simple, I will ask myself, “What is the outcome I want from increase my Runescape skills?”

If my answer is to get more gp, then focusing on Runescape skills will not give me the millions of gp that I want.

If you want to have millions of gp, you can use the Runescape grand exchange strategies that works like real life stock market to make your first millions in Runescape.increase_runescape_skills_1

But, if my answer is to increase my magic level from 3 ““ 60, then I have a target in my mind, and that’s 60.
With that, magic belongs to section two, which means I would need to have at least millions in order to buy my way up to level 60 magic.

In this case, if I’m only just starting out, that’s not a very good idea. So, the best strategies for those who are starting out, with low gp and low levels, is to focus on section one of the skills.

Unless you have millions of gp in your account, going for section two levelling will be difficult.

That’s why I would always recommend by Insider To Millions to all Runescape players, as making millions in Runescape is the most important thing you need to do if you want to play Runescape well.

So, if you have decided on increasing your prayer skills, remember my focus advice.

You will need to focus on working your prayer up until you get the level that you want before moving on to something else.

80% of Runescape players are too anxious, impatience, and not focus when comes to making millions and levelling in Runescape.

This is a basic post on “How To Increase Your Skills In Runescape?” Do remember to check back for more advanced individual skills which I’m going to write on.

Happy Gaming!

  8. Max berkowitz Says:

This method realy does work – listen to him. I was recently looking through ways to make gp, and slayer seemed good (Albyssal Deamons). I realized that I also needed combat. The thing to do when u train something like slayer or combat is to kill, nothing else. Don’t worry about drops like items or gp unless they will help u with what u are doing at that moment.

In short – focus on the task at hand, and forget all of the destractions.

  17. robin h 007 Says:

an ok guide, but not that clear, and no , you do not need “millions” of gp to get to 60, even less then a million would be enough, im 57 magic and i barely spent 100k to get up there so far, even with the millions i have lying around in my bank, and i have to agree with Steph=P, the info you are giving us is usually basic, for beginners, so could u provide maybe so,more advanced info, for people cb 90+, and maybe alot of experience with runescape, and have played it for a while, that would be most appreciated. I hope to get insider to millions one day, but so far im good with money!!!

Sorry to tell you but all you are telling people are the basics of rs that any player that has played for more than 2 months would know. All of the info is useless and all you tell me repeatedly is to buy your book.

  24. matt Says:

these guides are good, but i wish you could expand on like woodcut like write a guide to quick 99, but they are a bit basic for people around 80 combat. and here is a great way to level up magic both f2p ways and member. f2p= fist of guthix (it is free!!) psp= the circus thing (i forget wat it is called it has been awhile since i have been member) and after u have done the circus u go to fist of guthix (because u have free runes!!)

    enjoy :)

  35. YUM Says:

nice 1 but i like this sentence (80% of Runescape players are too anxious, impatience, and not focus when comes to making millions and levelling in Runescape.) really do make sence cuz i fell bored doing the same whole thing over and oer again

  36. Ariel Says:

Fast (100.5k/hr with fast clicking) and Cheap (gain money sometimes) way to train magic! NEED 68 MAGIC.

The supplies needed to do this method is very expensive but the money spits right back out when you’re done. I can only offored to do 1k at a time.

Supplies: 1k Diamond bolts, earth staff, 200 law runes, 100 cosmic runes.

Enchant your diamond bolts! you can do this almost as fast as you can click. you enchant 10 at a time. I usually do 1k in about 5 minutes.

Now, I can make a bit of money doing this. I spend 1,691,700gp buying the supplies, then sell the enchanted diamond bolts for maximum price, ending up with 1,722,000gp.

    Happy training!

  37. Ariel Says:

and YES Frank! a lot of people make money from monsters. Dust devils drop dragon chains… Metal Dragons drop Dragon Platelegs and draconic visages… Abyssal Demons drop whips… Godwars Bosses drop their god’s items. I’ve gotten 3 dragon platelegs from metal dragons. usually the people who make money from monsters are very lucky and high leveled.

I’ll suggest making money from green dragons… dragon bones are around 5k each now
